8 oz Skinner®® Spaghetti
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 each eggs, beaten
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
14 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
1 tsp dried oregano leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt, optional
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Cooking Directions:

1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2.  Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.

3.  In large bowl, toss pasta with oil; reserve 1 cup pasta for filling. Toss remaining pasta with Parmesan cheese and eggs. Turn into 10-inch pie plate. Press pasta mixture into bottom and up sides of pie plate to form crust. Evenly spread cottage cheese over bottom of pasta crust. Set aside.

4.  In medium skillet, sauté ground beef, onion, and green pepper until meat is brown and crumbly. Drain excess fat.

5.  Stir in stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, garlic powder, pepper and salt if desired, and reserved pasta. Heat thoroughly.

6.  Spoon meat mixture over cottage cheese. Cover loosely with greased foil. Bake 20 minutes.

7.  Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and re-foil; continue baking for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
